1. Making a contract with us
When you place an order with us (Earth Imports) you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an email confirmation that we have received your order. Once we have checked the price and availability of the goods, we will e-mail you to confirm that we accept your order, and that a contract has been made between us. We will not take payment from you until we have accepted your order. In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this. You will not receive an email confirming acceptance of your order and there will be no contract between us.
2. How to place an order
You must first open an account with Earth imports quoting your Company Registrations Number and VAT Number. Email: sales@earthimports.co.uk or fax: 01603 858 134 to request the relevant forms. You may then place an order quoting your purchase order number. If you think that you have made an error when placing your order, please contact us immediately.
Once you have placed an order you will be contacted via e-mail within 24hrs with details of your order and further information.
Earth Imports will store your data securely and it will not be handed on to any third parties.
3. Delivery
We only deliver within the UK mainland. For other destinations we can deliver to the nearest, convenient UK port. Any further arrangements are the buyer’s responsibility
Earth imports shall not be liable for any delay in delivery beyond the suppliers’ control.
Delivery charges are as follows:
Orders over £1000.00 no carriage charge
Orders over £500.00 £25.00
Orders over £300.00 £45.00
Orders under £300.00 at cost.
No minimum order charge
- 5% Discount will be applied to payment on ProForma. i.e. payment before delivery.
- Earth Imports will not be liable for changes in delivery bookings.
- 30 days credit on account approval. First order – pro forma
- Goods remain the property of Earth Imports Ltd until fully paid
- Orders may only be cancelled before shipment
- Late payments may incur a monthly interest charge of 1%
- Any legal correspondence relating to late payment will also be charged.
We will only delivery to UK mainland.

Our drivers are unaccompanied; they will not move or take away any existing goods or property for the purpose of assembly or installation of the goods.
The goods will be left inside your premises at the safest convenient location. Delivery drivers as standard will not carry items upstairs, and all transportation of your goods to a location upstairs is entirely carried out at the contractors risk and discretion.
4. Cancellation and Returns
You can cancel your contract at any time up to 7 working days after the day of delivery. To do this, please e-mail us or write to us. We will reply within 1 working day of your initial contact. You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future. If you cancel you must return the goods to us at your own expense. We can arrange the collection for you; however the charge for this service is typically around £50.00. You must ensure the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage. If you fail to return the goods, we will collect them, and we will charge you the direct cost of collection. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.
This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights- for example, if goods are faulty or inaccurately described.
5. Faulty Goods

Changes to these terms These terms were last changed on 23/11/06. These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time.
